JECI Quotation of Translation

Notes:

1. Translation quotation differs according to different materials. To a large extent our quotation lies on the target language of translation, the difficulty degree and the time requirement.

2. Character counting method: We use the characters (no spaces) showed in “character counting”---a sub menu of “Tools” under Microsoft Word 2000 as the reference of pricing. Diagrams are for free.

3. Our services like fetching and delivering within town, registered mailing, printing and an electronic version of the translated materials are free.

4. Charge for short materials documents: less than 500 characters will be counted as 500; more than 500 but less than 1,000 words will be counted as 1,000 characters; more than 1,000 characters will be counted practically. If you do not have an electronic version, characters will be counted with the method of “average words of a line multiplied by numbers of lines”.

5. Any additional requirements about the translated version as such format, binding, storage, related names of persons, places and organizations should be passed to JECI along with the original materials and documents. As to the professional materials, clients should provide necessary assistance to ensure quick and accurate translation.Former translated materials, glossary, reference, and answer of questions can be of help to improve the precision of translation.

6. Feedback: Questions about the correctness and precision of translations need to be sent back within 7 days. Overdue would be regarded as renunciation. Corrections are free of charge.

Notes:

1. 8 working hours/day/person; charges for overtime work needs further discussion.

2. Clients are to be in charge of the transportation, board and lodging for the JECI interpreters.
