Shandong Jonathan Education Consulting International (JECI) is a Sino-US joint venture of cross-culture incorporated in Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, China. Thanks to China opening and reform policies and the entrance to WTO, Chinese people keep going abroad to study, to visit, to get trained, to exchange and cooperate with their foreign counterparts in various fields; at the same time, foreigners keep coming to China to teach, to study, to travel, to get a special experience totally different with theirs. To ensure the possibility of these exchanges and cooperation programs, we need a bridge, we need an ambassador, here comes JECI on the demand, humbly and modestly.

JECI¡¯s main working areas are as follows: international education consultation and services, international trade & investment consultation and services, international culture & science consultation and services.

Currently JECI focuses mainly on the area of education, including,

• Recruitment of foreign teachers to teach in China.
• Recruitment of Chinese teachers to teach Chinese language and culture abroad.
• Chinese students study tour abroad, foreign students study tour in China, Sino-foreign students exchange programs for up to three weeks to ten months.
• Coordination to help establish sister-school (twain-school) relationship between Sino-foreign schools.
• Coordination to help establish Sino-foreign cooperative schools (joint ventures), schools abroad run by Chinese institutions and schools in China run by foreigner nationals.
• Chinese teachers training abroad, including English teachers from middle and primary schools and college teachers.
• Overseas study and training of the administrative, commercial and scientific personnel
• Selection and assignment of Chinese teachers teaching Chinese as a foreign language abroad.
• Shadowing programs between Sino-foreign school principals and college presidents.
• Foreign students study in China.
• Reception of foreign nationals coming to China for short term study and cultural immersion,arrangements for internationals interested in long-term study (degree and non-degree) in China.
• Oral interpretation and written translation.
• Office Automation, Web design and maintenance and language translation services for governmental authorities, enterprises and institutions of education.

All the above-mentioned consultation and services cover the areas of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

JECI has maintained a close cooperative relationship with almost all accredited primary and secondary schools, colleges and universities, and vocational institutions in Shandong community and beyond; JECI also forges a good relationship with foreign national, state and local education authorities, foundations and other service organizations in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States of America. It also has a close connection with dozens of education offices of Chinese embassies and consulates in other countries. Its overseas offices and representatives cover areas like San Francisco, Boston, New York, Washington and Phoenix in USA; Vancouver in Canada; Singapore; Reading, London in the UK, Canberra in Australia and Auckland in New Zealand. JECI will continue to establish more overseas offices to provide consultancy and services concerning oversea programs.
